Cancer Season: Family, Feelings, and Ferns!

Cancer season runs every year from June 21 - July 22nd (plus or minus a couple days on either end, depending on the astrologer you consult).
It’s the first of three water signs, and it rules the 4th house.
We’ve been talking a lot about the idea of “home” on the blog recently because since March...many of us have been home a lot more than we have been in any recent memory! This Cancer season we also have eclipses and a lot of retrogrades happening. In short, it will not be for the faint of heart (but what part of 2020 has been, right?).
Mercury will be Retrograde in Cancer from June 18th - July 12th. But you’re already ready for that, right? We talked about some proactive plant care tips last month so in the least...your PLANTS will be ready!
But for your own emotional health, be sure to slow down at home. Retrogrades are never about action and momentum. They are instead about retreating and revisiting. When a retrograde happens in the sign of Cancer, we do that work surrounding family, feelings, and if we’re lucky...some ferns!
