Meet Megan: The Plant Lady Behind It All
I started The ZEN Succulent in 2012 because I was obsessed with putting tiny gardens in glass containers. Turns out, a lot of you were too.
What began in my living room became a beloved Durham shop, then evolved into the online plant destination you're shopping today. Along the way, I wrote a book ("Modern Terrarium Studio"), got featured in Architectural Digest and Good Morning America, and helped thousands of people keep their plants alive.
I live in Durham with my husband Andrew, our three sons , and way too many plants. We're still local, still hands-on, and we actually answer when you have plant questions.
