August, as a whole, feels pretty good and especially grounding. If the summer has felt intense for you, this month will be a welcomed reprieve. We’re moving out of a lot of fire sign energy and into more earth and air!
It’s no coincidence that kids go back to school in August each year. The shift from Leo Season into Virgo is like trading in the beach towel for a book bag! Everyone is going to be re-centering and focusing on routine and structure once again.
Here’s some potent astrological dates to note for the month ahead:

Sunday, August 8th: Leo New Moon
Wednesday, August 11th: Mercury enters Virgo
Monday, August 16th: Venus enters Libra
Sunday, August 22nd: Full Moon in Aquarius*
Monday, August 23rd: Virgo Season begins
Monday, August 30th: Mercury enters Libra
*Perhaps the biggest moment to note this month is the SECOND Aquarius Full Moon. The first was Friday, July 23rd. If you’re curious what this one will be about…just reflect on what was going on for you around that date in July. Chances are something was brought to the surface, but the story isn’t over yet!
