Astrology Lately: Aquarius Season, Leo Full Moon, And Mercury Retrograde!

How’re you feeling these days? We’re somehow only THREE WEEKS into January (!!!) but for many of us, it feels like this month has already lasted an eternity! There is so much happening in the world, and especially a lot of change going on in the US.
As many astrologer’s say, it’s a very “As Above, So Below” time, which in short means that when life is chaotic here on Earth, the same story is reflected in the Universe.
The good news? We’re living in the Age of Aquarius! While life likely still feels a bit…unstable, hopefully you’re also tapping into the abundant FRESH AIR that is now surrounding all of us.
So…what will we do with it?

Aquarius energy is very progressive and future-oriented. It’s also a total REBEL! Find your cause that you believe in and support it fiercely…no matter what anyone else thinks!
LEO FULL MOON:
THURSDAY, JANUARY 28TH
This is a beautiful lunation that is DEFINITELY a bright spot to look forward to in the first month of 2021! Leo is ruled by the Sun and brings us warmth, vitality, and truth. Full Moons are also about releasing what no longer serves us, so use this energy to let go. MERCURY RETROGRADE IN AQUARIUS:
THURSDAY, JANUARY 28TH - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH
While Mercury Retrograde moments are often VERY feared in astrology…it’s important to remember that they occur multiple times every single year. This is not a “new” energy, it’s something that you’ve navigated your whole life!
With that said, Mercury going retrograde in an air sign is a bit different. It’s both more intense than other elemental retrogrades, and less! Air signs are all about communication, so if Mercury is going backwards in a communication element…we could feel like we’re EXTRA backwards. The good thing? Air signs are also about FORWARD MOMENTUM. Here’s the way to view this period:
