Scorpio Season: Diving into the Deep End

Hi friends! It’s Erin from TBH Magic back again to talk all things plants and planets.

On October 22nd, 2020 the Sun enters Scorpio.

Scorpio has a commanding reputation, and for good reason. Ruled by Pluto, power and control are hallmarks of the sign and thus the season. Ahem, it’s no coincidence that the The Presidential Election falls during Scorpio season every four years. All of us begin to tap into our most visceral desires, consciously or otherwise. But as with everything else in astrology, acknowledging nuance is very important.

While people hail the great return of “Spooky Season” every year, to relegate late October to scary movies and cheap costumes is a temporary salve. Pluto inflicts deeper wounds that require more intimate remedies. This is the time to excavate what’s behind the charade of masks...not to cower in fear, or blame the misunderstood.

Mercury and Mars are both still retrograde for the rest of the month too, which adds additional layers of suspicion and general chaos into the mix. But there is light at the end of this tunnel! Reaching it, however, requires sacrifice.

You must be willing to relinquish power to uncover the truths you seek.

Vulnerability and shadow work are two very magical terms during Scorpio season. Check out our blog here about how you can use astrology to uncover your shadow and begin its remediation.

As part of the water element in astrology, Scorpio understands the shadow profoundly but it comes up short, however, when it’s protective of its own in spite of others. Practicing vulnerability, instead of solely expecting it, is extremely important.

Trust that whatever you’re hiding from will see the light of day during this season. Secrets are revealed and there’s no escaping death.

The beauty arrives when you understand that death is the healing
