Join Modern Calligrapher, stationery designer and map illustrator Caitlin Baumberger of Happy Tines for an evening of pointed pen calligraphy on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14 from 5-7pm.
For beginners, this course will cover modern calligraphy terminology, how to assemble your pen, write basic strokes with additional education lowercase alphabet and numbers. You’ll leave with your own calligraphy starter kit to take home including oblique pen holder with ink & 3 nibs, and and a pad of tracing paper for your next calligraphy session and all the knowledge you’ll need to recreate this project

- 2 Hours of instruction and hands - on studio time, in a small group setting (max. of 10 students)
- Calligraphy Starter Kit that includes, oblique pen holder, 3 nibs, ink and a pad of tracing paper.
- Happy Tines step-by-step alphabet guide & grid.

About the Instructor,Caitlin :
Caitlin is a modern calligrapher, custom wedding stationery designer, illustrated map artist and a calligraphy educator based in Apex, North Carolina. Her passion lies in helping others document their happiest moments and adventures in life in a whimsical and illustrative way.
With a degree in Graphic Design from Meredith College, Caitlin worked in the corporate world as a graphic designer for several years. It wasn’t until she started planning her own wedding that she discovered her passion for calligraphy and custom stationery design. Caitlin officially launched her business, Happy Tines, in the summer of 2016. She now utilizes her calligraphy and design skills by working with brides across the country to design whimsical and modern custom wedding invitations and custom illustrated maps.
