Holiday Gifts to Give for the Non-Plant Person in Your Life
Looking for the perfect holiday gift for a non-plant person in your life? Check out our list of favorite gifts to stuff the stocking of a your favorite non-plant friend.
One-of-a-Kind Decor
Our owner, Megan, is a master curator of maker goods, particularly when it comes to art and wall decor. Stop by either store, or online anytime to see what’s she picked for this season. Our favorites include
Handmade clay wall hanging in a simple design that adds texture any space.
Hand-stitched knot wall hangings by Sara Clark from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Each cotton rope wall hanging is knotted and stitched to keep its shape.
Art from local folks, like Rachel Campbell and Jordan Grace Owens.
A ZEN Succulent Workshop
Most likely, plants aren't the only area she shines. Maybe she's a domestic goddess, super crafty or just plain good with her hands. Either way, check out our list of classes and get signed up. This is an activity that you can also do with her (don't worry, we have wine).
Fillaree Soap
Our friend, Alyssa founded Fillaree in 2014, with the mission of “helping customers reduce their home’s plastic waste, while providing beautiful, natural, earth and body friendly bath and cleaning products.” We sell her beautifully scented products for cleaning your house and body made with ingredients safe for you and your family.
We also host a Fillaree refill station, where you can bring your container and fill up on soap, thus reducing plastic wasted from soap and refill bottles.
Jeddah’s Tea
Jeddah's Tea is the perfect gift for that one friend who just loves tea (we all have one). You can’t go wrong with any one of these organic, fair-trade tea blends. They are all just so delicious, hot or over ice.
Not only is the tea delicious, it’s also locally made. Jeddah’s Tea is a husband-and-wife team in Durham, NC, who combine their passion for teas, social activism and community and aim to create a space where all people can come together over a great cup of tea.
P.F. Candle Co. Reed Diffuser
Unlike candles, reed diffusers don't require any flame. Instead, they use wooden sticks (“reeds”) to pull the fragrance oils from the bottom of a bottle to the top of the reed, where the scent then evaporates into the air. They require zero maintenance or remembering to do anything, and are a great way to freshen up any space. We love getting these as gifts, as well as gifting them.
